The Palo Alto Weekly, an award-winning, weekly community newspaper, is looking for photography interns.
Interns will work directly with the paper's editorial team and cover a wide range of daily photo assignments including: general and breaking news, features, arts and lifestyle coverage. There is also opportunity to produce video and assist on the paper's award winning weekly webcast, "Behind The Headlines".
The 12-week unpaid internship is available to any students residing in the Bay Area and are currently enrolled in college or are able to receive academic credit for the internship. Interns work approximately 20 hours a week during business hours with occasional work on weekends.
Interns should be responsible, self-motivated and passionate about visual storytelling. Interns will provide their own equipment and transportation.
